There was a big bug in Part 4! Or rather I forgot to put some important information in. Of course Isis can have grandchildren. Those of her children that could carry on her task, i.e. the immortals, can't have the children that would be needed. The mortal ones don't count, since they can't carry on the task, so they can have children. They were simply not affected by the curse. Err, I know that's a bit confusing, but even the mischivous god did not get it right. I'll try to explain a bit more in detail later on, but for the time being please don't let that bother you too much.
