The pages are tattered and worn as if they have been read over and over again. This passage has been translated from an old dialect of English just to get rid of those annoying "thees" and "thous" and to make it easier to read. This passage is dated November 800 A.D. I am headed towards a castle on a hill to visit a friend I have not seen in years. Some people wish to think that I and her are more than friends, but it has never been so. I have realised that friendship is sometimes more important than a romantic interlude. Because of this, I am not sure if I would want to be more than friends, for if our love was to collapse or fade into hatred or something else, then I would be afraid that I would lose someone who understands me sometimes more than I understand myself. I know that her life has not been easy, but I also know that she would have her life no other way. She has always helped those that have needed help, whether our kind or not. I come to see her now, for I have need to talk to someone and I know she has no student at this time. Also, I know she will understand what I am going through, for we both have seen the passage of time and know that once in a while we need to talk to one of our own kind in a place where we are safe. I will reach her home by the time the moon is full. For now, I will enjoy the lovely English countryside and ponder the future. -- flag waver for those that should be remembered (Darius, Fitz, Rebecca Horne, Ramirez) ** comet's ever changing sig line: Do not take life to seriously.
