This passage has been translated from a very old dialect of Gaelic. As I was passing through the highlands of the lands now known as Scotland for this was not their name the last time I passed through here...or maybe it was. I really cannot remember and I don't think it really matters for I do not think the name of this land will change again. However, this is not why I am writing this entry. I am writing because I have watched, from a distance of course, one the most promising of my kind that I have seen in along time. I will not introduce myself to him, for he is still young and new at this game of ours, and I might be too much of a shock for him. Although, sometime in the future we shall meet. I personally hope we meet as friends not as enemies, but with my kind one wrong swing of the steal can change a person or get them killed. He is not the first to come from these lands and I seriously doubt he will be the last either. I have heard that his teacher is from the same village as he was -- very rare, but not uncommon in these times. Maybe I will also meet him in the future, but again fate plays her hand here and the things we want to happen may never. I will stay here a little longer and then head West. middle of an entry dated April 1995 ...I said I would meet one of them in the future and I did. Duncan MacLeod of the Clan MacLeod is still fighting the good fight ... -- flag waver for those that should be remembered (Darius, Fitz, Rebbeca Horne, Ramirez) ** comet's ever changing sig line: Do not take life to seriously.
