The following saga (five installments overall) is the story of two immortals, Brian MacKenzie and David Macleod. The series rules apply, and then some. Both movie and series characters are involved here and there as well. David Macleod is a nineteen year-old immortal and a third generational American Macleod. His grandfather used to tell him of members of the clan in the old country, long in the past, who refused to die in battle. He always took them as bedtime stories, until now... Brian MacKenzie, on the other hand, is a 342 year old immortal in the body of a twenty year old who is David's mentor. He was trained by both of the *other* Macleods that we know of. In his past, he was frequently an actor but too often a warrior as well. His accent comes and goes depending on his most recent alias, just a further talent of his acting skill. In his more recent past (1960-on) he has been an advisor to presidents and a special forces officer (more on that in a later story...). His past is a quite tragic one, having lost his first love to cutthroats centuries ago in the highlands, but still he struggles on. The story of these two is told in five installments. Descendants to the Prize, Behind Blue Eyes, The Battle of Evermore, Red Rain, and In the Air Tonight. it follows them from 1993 until the final end of the Gathering a few decades from now. The first three parts are based upon a series of student films I have either made or are working on as we speak (and some members of the list will be pleased to know that that they're starring in them as well... :) The last two are for story's sake only (well, mainly the fact that Duncan, Connor, Amanda, et al appear alot in them is a good reason not to film them..) Anyway, without further adieu, here we go again... (well, partially, we're still in the middle of "evermore" right now...) =========================================================================
