This story is for entertainment purposes only and is not intended to infringe on any copyrights. NOTES: This is my idea of the HL universe - where the *true* star of the show (you'll find out who that is soon enough :) ) gets to take center stage. For clarity's sake, a * = emphasis and < > = thought. This story contains some brief discussion about the Vietnam War and the Irish Republican Army; however, the arguments used are *not* intended to represent the author's views of either conflict, and are simply there as arguements the character might use. (BTW, I actually started writing this before the Ulster bombings). There is some swearing - most of it the fairly mild variety - and some PG-rated romance scenes (i.e. you get to use your imagination). There are also song lyrics sprinkled throughout the story. Some are sung by my Immortal, O'Riordan (Rory) Malone, and some have been added as they seemed to fit the "mood" of the part I was writing. If the songs are sung within the story itself, they will be centered within the text as much as possible (my computer has several different personalities and very few of them are cooperative). "Mood" lyrics will be at the end of each part. All songs will be identified at the end of each section by title and singer/group. Positive comments and/or suggestions are welcome and appreciated.
