The bit about the "city on the western sea" is an expansion/extrapolation of the story Duncan MacLeod told the little girl in "Bad Day in Building A." It will probably be explored a bit more (no promises.) The holy ground story is completely my own. I presented it as it was because a) it may be a made up simply to scare young immies out of fighting on holy ground, b) it _could_ be true, c) it might be a corruption of a true story. What the story actually is may never be explored. The journal idea was introduced by Samantha Copeland (an alpha/beta reader -- many thanks to her and the other helpful readers). I actually tried it three different ways on the first story; the actual structure didn't fall into place until I started writing the sequel. Anything I may have forgotten to mention is due to lack of sleep and the fact that I'm not looking over my story right now ;). Anyway, questions, flames, comments, etc. should be sent to stsas02@moravian.edu. Sean A.
